Hello Families!
Welcome to the Dragonfly Class Blog! I am so very excited to be your child's teacher this year. We had the best first day of first grade and not one student left without a huge smile on their face! It is safe to say we are going to have an amazing year with the personalities and interests of these learners! There was so much excitement in our room today that it has me very excited for an amazing year of learning ahead.
Each child is coming home with a blue folder this evening. They are packed full with paperwork- please don't feel that you need to fill out forms and return them by tomorrow. You can send them in at a time that works for you! Some forms went home electronically, like the permission for photos and videos form. Please fill those out as well! If your child is not able to have photos taken then they will not be featured on the class blog- I upload many photos each month of our happenings in the classroom! An informational letter was sent home about subscribing to the blog. Please send back the bottom half of the form with your child to school to ensure that you have subscribed correctly! This is the main way I communicate our learning to your family! If you have any other questions about the forms sent home, please don't hesitate to ask! Email is the best way to reach me but do feel free to call me here at the school as well if you have any questions.
