Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!!!!

Hi Families! 

First of all, I can’t say thank you enough for the wonderful gift you gave me as a class. It was so thoughtful and incredibly generous! Being with your children every day is the best gift of all! Thank you, from the bottom of my heart. A little note will go home with each dragonfly after break with additional thanks. 😊 

2D’s Got Talent, gingerbread decorating, and cozy Friday all went smooothly due to your help and donations. The students had a very fun December and I can’t thank you enough for your role in that! I hope everyone has a safe and fun filled holiday. I know I will be thinking of your families over this vacation. I am missing my dragonflies already!

Some Reminders For This Week

Hello Families!

First of all, thank you x100 for making 2D's Got Talent so special for the kids! It was absolutely amazing having everyone in our room, supporting the talents of these hard workers AND raising awareness for the SPCA. All of our donations have been gathered and organized. For math, we will be adding up our collection and getting it ready to hand off to the SPCA! We will have our numbers for you in this week's newsletter! Check out our blog at the end of the week! 😁

Charity Rotation Day

On Wednesday, second graders will be rotating through the second grade classrooms learning some different ways they can give back to the community! We will be decorating donation bags for food, writing cards, caroling to bring cheer, and doing some math with all of the cans we raised from our can drive! Oh what fun!

Gingerbread House Building

On Thursday December, 21st at 2:00 we will be decorating gingerbread houses as a class. Feel free to join us for this fun activity! We don't eat these houses, they are purely for decoration! We are still accepting decorative candies, tubs of frosting, and two more boxes of graham crackers! Please send in supplies by Wednesday so I can pick up anything else that is needed! 

Cozy Friday

On Friday December, 22nd we will be having a pajama day in 2D. Students are invited to wear something cozy for a fun day of learning and celebration! Students may also bring in their favorite mug from home, as we will be having some hot chocolate in the afternoon with the owl class! I can't wait for this cozy day with the Dragonflies!

2D's Got Talent! 🌟

Hello Everyone!

I hope you had a fabulous weekend! These upcoming weeks are quite busy leading up to our holiday break! I am writing to remind you that 2D's Got Talent is THIS Friday, December 15th at 2:00! We have been working during our indoor recess times and "recharge (quiet) time" to practice our acts and raise awareness for the SPCA. We will take donations, animal toys, or just your presence to support us and raise awareness for this organization on Friday. The students are really excited about this event and to give back to their community. We hope to see you or any other family members there!
